Alaska is made from a single sheet of glass, 8 mm thick. The glass forms the whole face of the door. The sheet is toughened by heat treatment to increase its strength and impact resistance. Its surface is easy to clean and maintain.

Construction

The door is made from 8 mm thermally toughened safety glass, specified to UNI EN 12150-1. It is a glass leaf, with the frame and fittings selected for the opening system.

Opening types

Hinged, Double-action swing, Flush-to-wall hinged, Pocket sliding, Flush-to-wall pocket sliding, Wall sliding with an exposed track, Wall sliding with a covered track, Wall sliding with a concealed track.

Available as single and double doors.

Hinges and locks

The standard hinged door uses visible glass hinges. Yale cylinder locks are available on request.

In India

Bertolotto doors supplied in India come with PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) treated handles as standard, providing greater resistance to scratches and corrosion. The handles carry a 30-year warranty, while the doors carry a five-year manufacturer’s warranty.
