Stylised trees spread across Arnaudo’s lacquered surface. Their branches are carved in shallow relief, following drawings by the architect Arnaudo. The drawing continues from the door onto the surrounding panels. Both sit level when the door is closed, allowing the branches to cross the doorway and its frame. Matching wall panelling can extend the design further.

Construction

A 50 mm-wide perimeter of responsibly sourced, FSC-certified solid fir from forests in northern Italy surrounds a honeycomb core made from 100% recycled Kraft paper. The faces are water-resistant HDF. All four edges are protected with rounded ABS edging, lacquered to match the door, helping protect the internal structure from moisture. A flax chipboard core is available on request for selected Boulevard hinged doors.

Opening types

Hinged, Reverse-hinged, Aluminium-framed hinged, Flush-to-wall hinged, Pocket sliding, Flush-to-wall pocket sliding, Wall sliding with an exposed track, Wall sliding with a covered track, Wall sliding with a concealed track, Concealed-frame hinged, Bidirectional pivot.

Available as single and double doors, with matching security-door cladding and coordinated wall panelling.

Hinges and locks

Concealed hinges on the standard hinged door. Yale cylinder locks available on request.

Made by
Bertolotto Porte, Italy

Bertolotto is an Italian door maker with an obsession for getting things right. Since 1987, the company has brought together people who care deeply about how a door is designed, made and finished. All materials and components are sourced in Italy. In the factory, precise machinery works alongside craftsmen who have spent decades perfecting their part of the process. They produce at scale, then refine the work by hand, with the same attention given to every door. That care goes into the design of each door, too. Working with artists and designers, Bertolotto explores new ideas for its shape, surface and place within a room, pushing beyond familiar expectations of what a door can be. This combination of imagination and care drew us to Bertolotto and led us to bring their doors to India.
